Empowering Sunway Group Internal Audit Department (GIAD): A 2-Day Journey from Team Play to AI-Powered Performance
At Steam Building, we believe in the power of experiential learning and cutting-edge technology to transform modern workplaces. Recently, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting 31 professionals from the Malaysia Sunway Group Internal Audit Department (GIAD) for a customized 2-day upskilling and team-building program. The goal was clear: bridge the gap between traditional team dynamics and the future of AI-powered productivity.
Day 1: Experiential Learning with Drones and Robots
Led by Lead Facilitator Mr. Warren Li, Day 1 was all about action, collaboration, and high energy.
Morning Session (Human + Tech): We kicked things off with our Drone Team Building 2.0 program. This AM session focused heavily on cultivating a growth mindset through gamified, competitive, yet highly collaborative challenges.
Afternoon Session (Human + AI): The PM session escalated into strategic problem solving with our AI-Powered Robot Challenge (Team Building 3.0). Participants embraced Al-human collaboration, learning to work seamlessly with technology as a collaborative partner. It required radical collaboration across teams to build and battle robots, seamlessly blending digital literacy with physical teamwork.
Day 2: Driving Productivity with MS Copilot & Generative AI
Day 2 transitioned into a focused, practical workshop strictly dedicated to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Generative AI applications in a corporate environment. Under the guidance of Lead Facilitator Mr. Jeffrey Yim, the audit professionals engaged in hands-on, pragmatic training.
Participants learned practical prompt engineering to increase digital literacy and awareness.
The interactive workshop aimed to boost productivity at work by helping non-technical professionals embrace AI tools with confidence.
Participants specifically noted that they plan to use these tools for data extraction, data analysis, and report drafting in their current roles.

Day 1 (Team Building): Achieved an impressive overall assessment score of 5.29 out of 6.
Day 1 Recommendation: An incredible 100% of participants would recommend the team-building program to a colleague.
Day 2 (AI Workshop): Scored an average overall satisfaction rating of 5.23 out of 6.
Day 2 Recommendation: 96.8% of attendees would recommend the AI training to a colleague.
